Frank Merigliano, Ryan Flanagan and Dom Merigliano have teamed up to create Western Pennsylvania's top indoor baseball instructional academy. The Pittsburgh Elite Baseball Academy is the only area baseball facility that is staffed by full-time baseball professionals.

WHO ARE WE

Frank Merigliano, Ryan Flanagan and Dom Merigliano are Western PA's most successful professional baseball instructors. Each has over 10 years experience as a full-time instructor. We have worked side by side for the last decade and have instructed players from the age of 6 up through players with Major League experience. We believe that instructors have to have 3 qualities to get positive results from their students.

Bio mechanical understanding of body movements: An absolute grasp of what the body is supposed to do and when
Sight recognition: The ability to watch a player swing or throw and recognize the flaws
Individualization: The understanding that all players are different and cannot be taught the exact same things

There is only one relevant factor which allows an instuctor to acquire these three essential qualities........EXPERIENCE!

Over the last 10 years we have given well over 75,000 individual baseball lessons. Every day we see players swing, field, pitch and throw. This is what we do. To have just played the game at a certain level is not enough to make a person a viable instructor. Without this type of experience the ability to watch a player and help maximize their potential will be non-existent.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is simple and direct: Good baseball players are the result of good habits repeated over and over. Baseball is a game of fundamental repetition. At The Pittsburgh Elite Baseball Academy we teach our students the fundamentals of the game by training individual body movements (Hitting, Throwing, Pitching mechanics). By repeating the individual movements over and over the athlete will create a base which will allow him to execute each baseball fundamental at game speed. Our ability to recognize and correct mechanical flaws and mistakes allows our players to reach their full potential.

We believe that if you are willing to invest time and money in lessons then you should expect results. Our ability, experience and teaching philosophies are unmatched.
